The spark came during late-night study sessions with friends at a local cafe in college. We'd gather around tables covered with finance, economics, and psychology textbooks, order coffee after coffee, and debate everything—market theories, life philosophies, what we wanted to build after graduation. But it was the ritual of that shared coffee experience, the conversations that flowed with the caffeine, that planted the seed for what would become Herbrand.

After 15+ years in finance—from investment banking to pharmaceuticals—I discovered my gift for turning chaos into clarity. But something was missing. In all my corporate success, I kept returning to those college cafe moments: friends gathered around steaming mugs, ideas flowing freely, the way coffee became the catalyst for connection and creativity. Later came the skincare rituals that grounded me during stressful periods, the travel experiences that recharged my soul between intense work periods.

I still work full-time in pharma while building this ecosystem. The stability provides foundation; the contrast provides clarity.
